Grayton Beach is one of the most unique communities on Hwy 30A. The area fronts the Gulf of Mexico to the South and Western Lake to the East. The best words that describe Grayton Beach are "Casual", "Beachy", and "Artsy". The popular Gulf Front community offers one of the best public beach accesses on 30A. You will find many locals driving their 4 wheel drive vehicles on the beach. You must have a beach driving permit to drive on Grayton Beach.
The most popular Grayton destination is the Red Bar. The Paneed Chicken with mashed potatoes at the Red Bar is a favorite among locals and Tourists. The actual town of Grayton Beach does not have any condo projects, just beach houses and town houses. The closest condo projects are Sanctuary at Redfish and Santuary by the Sea. Grayton Beach is also a very short bike ride to nearby Blue Mountain Beach, Seaside and WaterColor.
Some other excellent dining options near Grayton Beach are Borago, Chiringo, Hurricane Oyster Bar, and the Grayton Brew Pub. The neighboring Grayton Beach State Park is definitely worth a visit.
